(AGM (Absorb Glass Mat)

AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) insulation is made of very fine glass fibers and is placed between the positive and negative plates of the battery. Its main function is to prevent direct contact between the plates and thus prevent short circuits. Due to its porous structure, this insulation absorbs and retains the electrolyte or battery acid while allowing ions to pass between the plates.

Lid&box Battery cover and door

The battery cover is the top of the battery that covers the internal compartment and prevents dust and moisture from entering. It also houses the terminals, gas vents, and in some models, the Magic Eye. Box (Battery Body); The body or Box is the main compartment of the battery that holds the plates, electrolyte, and other internal components. This part is usually made of durable plastic such as PP or ABS and must be resistant to impact, heat, and acid corrosion.

Magic eye (Battery indicator)

The Magic Eye is a small indicator used in some lead-acid batteries to provide an approximate indication of the battery's condition and electrolyte concentration. It is usually located on the top of the battery and changes color to provide general information about the battery's condition.

Flame arrestor

Flame Arrestor is a safety component in some lead-acid batteries that is placed in the path of the battery gases. Its main function is to prevent flames or sparks from entering the battery and reduce the risk of explosion caused by the accumulation of flammable gases, especially hydrogen. This component usually has a porous structure that allows gases to pass through, but if a flame occurs outside the battery, it prevents the flame from passing into the chamber by absorbing and transferring heat. For this reason, Flame Arrestor plays an important role in increasing safety and reducing the risk of battery fire and explosion.

PE(Separator) Polyethylene insulation Separator

Insulation made of polyethylene that is placed inside it as an insulator for the negative or positive plates. This insulation is available in different thicknesses.

Battery TerminalBosher Terminal

A battery terminal is a metal piece that connects the vehicle's electrical cables to the battery terminals. Its function is to transfer electrical current between the battery and the vehicle's electrical system.

Pasting paper

In the production of lead-acid battery plates, an active material paste is applied to a metal grid. Pasting paper is usually a release layer/paper or temporary coating used in some production lines to control the pasting process, prevent material sticking, and aid in plate transfer/drying.
